About Me

My name is Mitchell Bongi and I am a 25 year old photographer based out of Sonoma County, CA.  I am an avid outdoorsman with a pure appreciation for wildlife and the outdoors that I combine with my love for photography. My constant search for adventure pulls me out of my day job in construction management to places far from any building or construction work. On weekends you can find me with a camera in my hand, far down an unmarked trail looking for my next shot.

For as far back as I can remember, photography has been a strong passion of mine. Before I had a camera of my own, I was constantly intrigued by beautiful and exciting photos, as well as the equipment used to capture such images. In middle school, I was gifted my first DSLR camera which helped turn my hobby into something more serious. Countless hours spent behind the viewfinder turning brief moments into compositions that last forever. From my friends hitting dirt jumps on their BMX’s, to the Milky Way galaxy patiently watching down upon us, I was always trying to capture a stunning forever-piece of something.

Fast forward to now. Years have passed, knowledge and equipment have improved, but the desire is still the same. From landscape to construction, cars to wildlife; I am always trying to capture a sliver of time that portrays beauty and substance. Whether it’s a comet over an endless forest or a spark rocketing off of a weld, my goal is to capture an image that is intriguing and attractive, and I hope that you find my photos as such.
